COLOURS brings dance to the people – not only on the Theaterhaus stages! As usual, Eric Gauthier and the company as well as first-rate instructors want to get the whole of Stuttgart moving: mostly open-air and irresistibly persuasive. A new format will be added in 2025: the COLOURS Collaborations in cooperation with Stuttgart culture partners.
As a fitting intermezzo for the concert evening at jazzopen, Eric Gauthier selected Bonus Track by Hofesh Shechter. As always featuring original music by the Gauthier Dance Artist in Residence, the atmospheric creation brings the entire company of 16 dancers to the stage. Gauthier Dance will appear between the acts of Martin Kohlstedt (support) and electro pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre.in company and the JUNIORS, bringing a total of 22 dancers to the stage.
At the jazzopen, around 60,000 fans can expect top-class music and plenty of movement in the audience and on stage. The top European festival for jazz & beyond offers around 60 concerts on four main stages and seven admission-free open stages in the city of Stuttgart from July 2 to 13. Jacob Collier, RAYE, Kraftwerk, Kylie Minogue, Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Zucchero and Lionel Richie, among others, will be playing on the Schlossplatz.
